"It's a little different but then, I love sprinting and just go forward - I'm not staying back that much," he said.

"I tell my defender 'I'm not staying' and that I'm just going to continue attacking.

"The running is what I'm after. It's good fun."

'Surreal Feeling

In addition to Cisse's six scores on debut, Ireland has scored eight in three appearances for Wythenshawe, while George Boyd hit five on his debut match and Lescott, a centre-half by position, notched a triple in one game as a striker.

Wythenshawe are top of the Top Tier with 3 wins from three and a goal difference of +19.

Paul Barrow, 38, who plays on the wing for Collegiate OB, faced former Wigan defender Figueroa on the weekend - and had to tell his nine-year-old son who Emile Heskey was.

Figueroa has appeared at 2 World Cups for his country, in addition to featuring in more than two hundred top-flight games.

"The news was spreading like a rumor they had all these ex-Premier League players," remarked the player.

"I felt I was a little starstruck facing Figueroa to be honest.

"Also Heskey came on and he's has 60-odd English appearances.

"Our side competed well for a solid 20 minutes but then we had a man sent off and it was hard.

"Our group really have not ceased talking about it - I was phoning my mother and brother on the journey home.

"The opponents were all dead sound, shaking our hands after the match - it was like playing a bunch of normal fellas.

"Now we are eager for the second fixture."

'We'll Still Take the Title'

The manager manages the Collegiate veterans side, who secured the Top Division title last season, together with Paul Maguire.

"Our team scored 1-0 ahead and had a
